Mie Goreng Sauce


24 grams/1½ T Sweet Soy Sauce*
16 grams/1 T Oyster Sauce
16 grams/1 T Ketchup
12 grams/2 t Chili Sauce adjusted to desired spice level
6 grams/1 t Dark Soy Sauce

*Recipe for Sweet Soy Sauce
Ingredients
½ cup soy sauce
½ cup brown sugar or palm sugar
2 garlic cloves (crushed and peeled)

Directions for Sweet Soy Sauce
Place all ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the sugar has dissolved and the sauce begins to thicken, 10-15 minutes.
Strain the garlic from the sauce and allow to cool.
Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 months.
